Common “Kingdon” Feat. Vince Staples

After being quiet for a long time following 2011′s The Dreamer/The Believer, Chicago rapper Common has been making some rumblings in the past few months in preparation for his new album Nobody Smiling. At the beginning of the year, he shared “War” and “Made In Black America” in quick succession but “Kingdom” is his first song in a while. It’s an epic and rambling six-minute long rumination on the intermingling of religion and violence featuring a memorable verse from Odd Future-associate Vince Staples. Listen below.

Not a bad way to start your monday with some new Common! Enjoy! What do you think? Leave a comment below.
