British Columbia native Teen Daze has ascended from the depths of solitude and dropped an impressive albeit stylistically unique track entitled “Reykjavik, January 2015.” The track, product of the forthcoming EP A World Away, has been stated as a reflection of the artist’s feelings in nature and, while the “summer-loving” brand has rapidly become part of the Teen Daze persona, he became interested in representing the cooler, icier and more moody seasons associated with weather on the West Coast. “Reykjavik” is a notably slower, airy and powerful production, starting out with an intimate piano solo that builds within synth layers and dreamy beats to create a serene, earthy effect. A World Away is expected January 13, 2015. Peep it below.
Great vibes for these rainy days in L.A. I will be on the look out for this project. What do you think?
